RECYCLING
Recycling services are offered by the Joe Rodgers Recycling Center. The Recycle Center takes plastic, cardboard, newspapers, oil, and cell phones. The Center is located at 1702 Avenue K and is open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm except on Sunday and Wednesday.
ANIMAL CONTROL
The Animal Control Division within the Bay City Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of all laws and regulations pertaining to the Texas Department of State Health Services (Zoonosis Control) and the City of Bay City’s city ordinances governing Animal Control. The Animal Control Division works closely with the Bay City-Matagorda County Impound, as well as the Matagorda County Environmental Services. The Animal Control office is located at 2201 Avenue H.
